The Mossy Rock Trail Loop is situated in Blind River, Ontario. The Town of Blind River and Mississauga First Nation had a vision to create a shared accessible trail with teachings along the way through a First Nations’ lens. The project was rolled out in phases and began with two trail entrance signs, followed by seven trail markers, four interactive interpretive signs, and one selfie sign.
This project was featured in SignMedia Canada magazine. You can read the online version of the article here. The writeup goes into the purpose and process of producing these signs and also goes into the material and techniques used.
